Narromine Shire Council have installed pressure sensors connected via Taggle’s versatile IoT device, the Cockatoo, within the water reticulation network.
The data will allow the water services team to monitor for fluctuations or anomalies in the network enabling them to make informed decisions based on data. Benefits of monitoring pressure include prolonging asset life, identifying breaks in the network, addressing water pressure issues and reducing customer complaints.
The water pressure data will be presented in Aqualus Vision. The system will send alerts to the team should any high or low pressure events occur allowing them to address any issues quickly.
