CASE STUDIES
LEARN FROM YEARS OF TAGGLE EXPERIENCE
Over 45 Councils and water utilities around Australia have embraced Taggle’s solutions and are reaping the benefits of the innovative technology. If you would like specifics on councils who have obtained great results, we will be happy to provide these references. We can help you build a business case to demonstrate how smart water metering and environmental sensing will help your organisation.

TOWNSVILLE CITY COUNCIL
Townsville City Council investigates water pressure complaints in the coastal suburb of Pallarenda using the Taggle Network.

NARRABRI SHIRE COUNCIL
Smart Water Metering reduced non-revenue water from 40% to 20% within the first year by identifying losses and notifying customers of potential leaks.

TOWNSVILLE CITY COUNCIL
Deploy a range of IoT devices on the Taggle Byron Network to improve water management and solve problems. These projects include monitoring water pressure, river level, litter catchment nets, rainfall, weather, electricity and temperature.

MACKAY REGIONAL COUNCIL
Mackay was Taggle’s first smart water metering customer, who had the goal to defer capital investment for a new water treatment plant. This was achieved by educating the community about their water use and therefore reducing their water consumption and quickly identifying leaks to reduce wasted water.

MAREEBA SHIRE COUNCIL
Smart water meters helped council notify many Mareeba residents who had water leaks. Residents were extremely thankful for finding these leaks and saving them lots of money by reducing their water bills.

SUB-METERING APARTMENTS
The average water use for the building was 400 kilolitres a day minimum. Since we installed the meters, water usage has dropped by 100 kilolitres a day. At two dollars a kilolitre, that’s a saving of $200 a day.
