Taggle Systems is pleased to announce that its regional partner, Goldenfields Water County Council (GWCC), based in Temora NSW, has completed the roll-out of a wireless sensor network across its 22,000km2 distribution area.
The network uses Taggle’s Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology and will be used initially to read hourly data from approximately 12,000 urban and rural water meters.
One of the inital benefits to GWCC’s customers will be the use of water consumption data to detect and alert them to possible water leaks on their property, potentially saving customers hundreds of dollars in lost water.
