David Peters
Chief Executive Officer
David's Bio
David joined Taggle as CEO in February 2022, having previously been Chairman of the Board since May 2020 , where he had the chance to get the know the business and see the potential.
David’s focus is to guide the Taggle Team through continued growth and success while ensuring our core values drive us forward. Our core values are viewable here.
Richard Keaney
Engineering Director
Richard's Bio
Richard joined Taggle in 2009 as our first full time employee.
He led the Engineering team in developing the company’s core LPWAN Byron Radio technology and continues to drive innovative R&D projects pushing Taggle’s IoT technology.
Before Richard’s time at Taggle he led the development of the Radiata Communications first Wi-Fi modem device, which sold to Cisco in 2000.
Hugh Ealey
Chief Financial Officer
Hugh's Bio
Hugh joined Taggle in 2017 as group CFO and Company Secretary with over 20 years’ experience in senior finance positions.
Hugh oversees all of Taggle’s financial activities and is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of Taggle’s financials and reports.
Mark Matijevic
Sales Director
Mark's Bio
Mark commenced with Taggle in November 2021. Mark brings with him a wealth of sales knowledge in technology and is well connected in local government and with key influencers.
With 20 years’ experience working with local councils in Australia, Mark understands the challenges council members face in meeting the demands of staying connected and engaged with the community.

David will be focussing on controlled profitable growth – building on Taggle’s positive reputation, great technology and established reference client base to develop the company to even greater success.
David has a strong and varied background as an entrepreneur and experienced founder and Chief Executive Officer, with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. He is highly skilled in Marketing, General Management, Analytics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Go-to-market Strategy, and Telco.
David has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from University of New South Wales, studied at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and completed the Owners and Presidents Program at Harvard Business School.
Richard Keaney
Engineering Director
Richard joined Taggle in 2009 as our first full time employee and he has led the Engineering team, developing the company’s core LPWAN radio technology.
Richard has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries in a range of engineering design and management roles. As the first full-time employee of Radiata Communications, which sold to Cisco in 2000, he led the development of the company’s first Wi-Fi modem device. Before working at Radiata, Richard held various R&D roles at Sydney University, Macquarie University, Jtec Pty Ltd and AWA Microelectronics Pty Ltd.
Since leaving Cisco in 2005 Richard worked as an Engineering Manager for G2 Microsystems, a wireless start-up developing low power Wi-Fi solutions, and as a consultant for Sapphicon Semiconductor.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sydney University and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
Mark Matijevic
Sales Director
Mark commenced with Taggle in November 2021. Mark brings with him a wealth of sales knowledge in technology and is well connected in local government and with key influencers.
He was most recently employed with Datacom as Director – Local Government Solutions and prior to that he was at Technology One as Solutions Manager – Local Government and prior to that as Customer Development Manager.
With 20 years’ experience working with local councils in Australia, Mark understands the challenges council members face in meeting the demands of staying connected and engaged with the community.
He is passionate about helping local councils transform their traditional “Rates, Rubbish and Roads” role into one of a true and progressive community hub. He has spent the majority of his career developing solutions that produce results in the community, delivering the right strategies, processes, tools and infrastructure for each situation.
Hugh Ealey
Chief Financial Officer
Hugh joined Taggle in 2017 as group CFO and Company Secretary and he has responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the company.
He is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in senior finance positions. Hugh trained at Price Waterhouse (PWC) and moved into commerce with the Hayden Group of Companies.
He has spent time in public companies working in the private hospital division of Mayne Nickless and was Director of Finance & Systems when The Leading Edge Market Research Consultants was acquired by ASX listed Photon Group (now Enero Group ASX: EGG).
Prior to joining Taggle he was CFO and Company Secretary at DATS Environmental Services and then Ocean Guardian Holdings Limited.
Geoff Bowker
Cloud Solutions Director
Geoff has been with Taggle since August 2021 and has a wide background in information technology business management. He is experienced in complex and volatile environments including start-ups, spin-offs, BPR projects, acquisitions and outsourcing.
He has acted as a business director and consultant including strategic development, business planning, BPR, and alliance development capabilities in both Board and senior management roles.
His Operational experience covers software and IT product development and lifecycle management; manufacturing; sales and marketing; program, project and supplier management; and professional services in a broad range of vertical markets.
His specialties include:
– Information and Communication Technology commercialisation
– Process Assessment & Improvement (CMMI, ITIL, ISO)
– Software/Systems Engineering
Geoff holds an Engineering degree, post graduate (MBA program).
Cameron Churchus
Chief Product Officer
Cameron joined Taggle in October 2020. He is an industry and technology executive with over 25 years’ experience spanning senior roles at Optus, Hewlett-Packard, NEC, Hutchison (now Vodafone) and Keycorp, along with a range of early stage businesses.
He has held product leadership and operations, sales, strategic marketing and new business development responsibilities. His experience spans Asia, Australia and USA.
He has broad industry experience covering technology, software, IoT, telecommunications, data analytics, industrial products, health and fintech. He is experienced in As-a-Service operating models, from software solutions to business operating models along with pricing and commercial risk management.
Cameron has a MBA from Melbourne Business School, and a Bachelor of Business.
