The installation of smart water meters has reached the halfway point at Hinchinbrook Shire Council, with 2691 of residences now fitted with new meters!
Pictured here is Travis Joblin from Dataright, one of Taggle’s preferred installation contractors, who always does a fantastic job.
Travis is activating one of Honeywell’s V200HT Smart Water Meters, with its integrated Taggle Byron radio, using the Aqualus Field App for a quick, smooth activation and data capture process.
Hinchinbrook Shire Council is undertaking the project to upgrade all water meters across the Shire to Automatic Meter Reading Devices. The initial implementation of the project, is being jointly funded by the Hinchinbrook Shire Council and the Queensland Government under the Local Government Grants and Subsidies Program. This project was planned through Council’s Capital Works Program for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 as well as part of the 2019-2020 Operational Plan.
